Deke Sharon, an inspiring, modern, a cappella master did a short video on: "Why Vocal Harmony Matters" In this video, he describes why, as a world, and as human beings, we require music as a part of our daily life. He also says why music brings people together and why it is necessary for us to connect to the deepest parts of ourselves. He explains that even history itself has changed the way we look at music and how the modern era has forced us to believe that music should only be performed by the most successful and talented individuals. Instead of reiterating the entire video here, below we have provided it for your viewing pleasure. Leave a comment and tell us what you think! I really love what Deke says here and I think that we could all take a lesson in learning to sing. Not just for ourselves, but for our local and global communities. And... with that comes the ability to connect more deeply to others. I would love to see more videos on this.
